My son and I installed this booster in about an hour. We spend most of the time running cables from one floor to the other, but we finally got it set up. It took a few minutes to adjust the outdoor antenna, but we were finally able to get 4 bars of strong 3G network.
I used to get one bar and 2 bars at best in my home office. I experienced lots of dropped calls, so I decided to switch to a phone that supported Wi-Fi connectivity. The results weren't satisfactory either and opted to buy this signal booster. It really did improve my signal, and I now get a solid 3 bars all the time, and I no longer have dropped calls.
For a while now I haven't had any reception at my house. The best I get is a bar of 3G service and most times it fluctuates to zero. This booster did give me an unexpected turnaround. I now get up to 4 bars of cell phone service in the house. I still don't get 4G out here, but I never did so it's not quite a big deal. I'm just happy I now get consistent cell service.
