I was doing some research work out in the field and we were supposed to send data of the day's finding over the phone every single day. It was so beguiling considering the network in the houses we were staying in was absent almost all the time unless we stepped out. W e decided to get this unit because we were to stay for whole six month in this place. It helped us a lot. The results were immediate. Everyone promised to tell someone about it.
Only had one bar, barely and it bumped it up to three bars in same room only but that's ok..it works. Internet is 4g consistent. Only con is booster gets hot at coax connection. 5 stars! Hookup was simple.
We live upcountry, about 8 km from the nearest mast. Cellular reception in the house is patchy, and so is data connection. Since I installed the unit, calls in the house have been clearer than on a landline, and data speeds have improved tremendously. Installation was easy, but I had done some prior research about it. I can't believe I took so long to buy it.
Was nice and easy to setup and has boosted the signal quite nicely.The cable have an adapter on them which makes them the right size to fit the antenna and booster, which was great for running the cables as I was able to remove the adapters and only had to drill a 10mm hole to run the cable through the walls. Was happy about this as the adapters are about 20-25mm in diameter. The bracket that comes with the yagi antenna is a bit flimsy, and I am a bit worried about how it will withstand high winds, as it does have a large surface area...
